AI can master many complex skills, tasks, and processes. Is leadership one of them?

Not necessarily, according to research. People want to be led by other people — even if human relationships come with flaws and messiness.

Research from over the past 10 years found that the more “human” you are in your leadership, the better the outcomes for your teams, your organization, and yourself. So, while successful leaders today certainly need to understand and leverage the benefits of AI, they also need to embrace their uniquely human qualities more fully.

To learn more about the research, and what qualities constitute “human” leadership, read the article, “The Best Leaders Can’t Be Replaced by AI,” by Rasmus Hougaard et al.
